MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY
TO THE POLYNESIAN LIBERATION FRONT
THE THIRD NO NUKES ASIA FORUM
SEPTEMBER 6, 1995, Taipei, Taiwan
Dear friends,
We, the participants of the 3rd No Nukes Asia Forum, extend
our solidarity to all the people in the South Pacific during
this difficult moment in your history. This morning we had a very
sad news that the French government conducted nuclear testing in
your homeland. We express our rage over resumption of this
violence by the French government's in total disregard of worldwide
clamor for a stop to nuclear testing and total elimination of
nuclear weapons.
We also absolutely support your struggle for independence
and self-determination. Thus we pledge to undertake a campaign in
our countries in order to mobilize world opinion and to appeal
and put pressure upon the French government to abandon its
dispicable act of resuming Nuclear Testing in the South Pacific.
May you continue to have courage and strrength to resist the
imperialist and colonial forces of France.
WE SHALL OVERCOME!!
