Check again...
This is the MINI Cooper S
One with all these options [Aero kit, lights, etc.] will easily run $26,000

You mean to tell me I can't go to Moritz and get the same for $12,500?
Besides those things are so darn ugly and you might as well be riding a
motorcycle.
Please wear your helmet in that Sardine Can!

CAR FROM GARLAND? IN THE AUSTIN FOR SALE GROUP? IN THE HOUSTON FOR
SALE GROUP?

Its people like this that ruin the whole groups idea!

Put down a little money buddy and advertise on Autotrader, cars.com,
or one of the other NATIONWIDE sales sites. THIS IS FOR AUSTIN ONLY!

Hell no!
Don't sell it you can use it like a bicycle.
Tell 'em to put the damned thing on the roof rack of one of his other five
cars so that he can go get gas incase the one toting runs out.
Gas prices are getting higher and before long his 1924 studabaker might
guggle up a tank betwixt stations.
Just a Thawt!

Betting you don't have a car that can catch the Mini S...especially if it
has the add-on performance package.

Tell ya what pal... Since all of my vehicles are paid for and
increasing in value daily and not having to spend $20 grand might just
buy a lot of gas, eh?

JT... what do you reckon the "right price" might be for that 305 of yours?

I really don't know. I used to ride it back in the 1980's when I was
back east then it went into storage, Two years ago, I retrieved it and
it is in a friend's shed. I did remove the gas tank and had it cleaned.
I needs a thorough cleaning, the handle bars should be rechromed, and
the bike should be repainted, (I have a quart of matching Dupont red),
at the least.

I have replacement (NOS) pistons, rings, gaskets, chrome trim, timing
chain and other assorted stuff that would go with it. The tires are
shot even though they have virtually no mileage.

It was going to be a retirement project but I think that I want to go on
to other things.

I guess it would matter if the driver had two feet or not - clutch and
gas/brake...otherwise I don't think it would matter.
