CenTex House Leveling - horror story

The company is named CenTex House Leveling. The owner is Ben Cooper.

CenTex House Leveling employees jackhammered through the foundation
and broke a fresh water pipe which ruined the living room carpet. The
owner says that the damage is "NOT CenTex's responsibility".

CenTex House Leveling contracted to not only level the foundation of
the home, but also to *level* a carport/storage area. With the owner
present and giving direction, the CenTex employees dropped the
slab while trying to level it. The slab cracked into several pieces.
CenTex then broke the slab into smaller pieces with sledgehammers so
that they could pour concrete on top of the rubble.

State certified engineers have said that pouring a "cap" on top of
the rubble would *not* work. CenTex has been unable (or unwilling)
to offer any other solution.

Should I mention the wastewater pipe which was broken by CenTex House
Leveling employees (most likely with their trusty jackhammer)? I'll
stop the list here for now.

CenTex has been unable or unwilling to reply to direct questions
posed in written correspondence. Indeed, we have received no
written correspondance from CenTex House Leveling which offers a
solution to the broken slab and other damage.

The extensive damage is still visible now, just as it was left in
early June when CenTex walked off the job never to return.

There are pictures and letters which help to outline and underscore
the facts above. If you want to contact me for further information,
please feel free. Obviously I would most likely NOT recommend this
company to anyone.

Has _anyone_ else had any GOOD or BAD experiences with this company?
Perhaps an agreement can still be reached, but time is running out.
