Was this debt run up in the last >two years, or was Clinton also being a "deadbeat" about it? What is it with you 'wingnuts'? What difference is it WHO was president when the debt was incurred and promised to be paid? The America I come from believes in paying its debts, but that seems not to be the case anymore with whacked out wingers. All they have to do it seems to wipe out a debt is to declare the banker 'evil' and that then is justification for skipping. Sorry jackass, I don't care what your ethics are, I have my honor and I damn well resent the likes of you besmirching that of this nation. Go lay down and read your 'The Life of a Living God-Ken Lay' some more and dream of all that loot you didn't quite have a chance to steal. Go away, ya bother me, kid! "Burke said there were Three Estates in Parliament; but, in the Reporters' Gallery yonder, there sat a Fourth Estate more important than they all. It is not a figure of speech, or a witty saying; it is a literal fact, .... Printing, which comes necessarily out of Writing, I say often, is equivalent to Democracy: invent Writing, Democracy is inevitable. ..... Whoever can speak, speaking now to the whole nation, becomes a power, a branch of government, with inalienable weight in law-making, in all acts of authority. It matters not what rank he has, what revenues or garnitures: the requisite thing is that he have a tongue which others will listen to; this and nothing more is requisite." - Carlyle
