Makes sense to me. In my opinion the way to shut down the problem of
illegals and the problems that go with it, is simply to make a
standing offer to ANY Mexican province: If by 2/3 (or maybe 3/4) vote
of the residents they wish to secede from Mexico, they will upon vote
of the U.S. Congress be approved as a new state in this country with
all the privileges and responsibilities that go with it. Open borders
(like any state), no more stealing or illegal activities, but also
taxes, and other responsibilities. Welcome to America!  (also solves
our gardening and lettuce picking problems)

We have too many Mexicans already.  They do not, for the most part, 
assimlate into our society and will drag it down to their level if we let 
them in here to steal and sell drugs as citizens.
