Can we agree that LBJ was a liberal, even a socialist? He was known as "The
Loan Arranger" for his borrow-and-spend fiscal policies. He pushed thru his
"Great Society" entitlement program that increased both the size of
government but its intrusion into our private lives. He also lied us into a
quagmire war in Vietnam (Remember the Gulf of Tonkin Incident?).

Contrast him with G.W. Bush. Bush has borrowed and spent more money than
arch-liberal LBJ, more even than Ronals Reagan.  The entitlement programs
LBJ started continue to grow, as they did under RR. Government size and
intrusion has lept to unprecidented heights under Bush. You cannot die with
dignety nor board a plane without your shoes being searched, exensive
intrusions never dreamed of even under LBJ. And here we are decieved into
another quagmire! Yet Bush deems himself conservative and most accept that
as true. NeoCon??  NeoCommie is more like it!
