The reason Bush won twice is that he was able to convince idiots who prize
faith over logic that he (and they) are conservative Republicans when in
fact they are far to the left of most Democrats - especially moderate
Democrats like Clinton. Bush has borrowed and spent more money faster than
any liberal Democrat in living memory, more even that "The Loan Arranger"
LBJ. But never mind that - God told him to mortgage our children's future so
we can have a tax cut. When Al Qaeda attacked us, GW fell on Saddam
Hussien - arguable the greatest enemy al Qaeda had in the Middle East. Had
Roosevelt been as stupid, he'd have attacked England in response to Pearl
Harbor! But never mind that - Saddam was encouraging terrorist attacks on
Israel and every person of faith knows that the only reason God created the
USA was to protect Israel.  The NRA has staunchly supported Bush, yet right
now nationalized Guardsmen from out-of-state are kicking down doors in New
Orleans searching for and confiscating any guns they can find!  But never
mind that ..... we are God fearing Republican NeoCommies and need a fuhrer
to command us. We like being lied to! We're not like Hillary - she used to
work for Barry Goldwater and you know how radical he was.  Besides, she
thinks people have rights.
