Description:
Technical trainers deliver technical courses on data modeling and custom
application development to  customers and partners. They must possess
excellent oral and written communication skills as well as substantial
technical experience with recent software technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Build a strong comprehension of the concepts and functionality underlying
the our clients suite of software products
Understand the complexities involved in implementing/deploying solutions
Acquire a solid command of the training materials and related data
Ensure that all customers/partners leave class with a comfortable
understanding of: (A) The concepts and functionality behind the
application(s) taught (B) How to deploy the application(s) taught in their
own/their clients� business environment
Grade/Evaluate results from certification exams and notify students of
status
Create a training environment where students interact freely with those from
other organizations
Assist others with sales-oriented Training efforts
Create enthusiasm about the product offerings
Inspire endorsement for technology, business focus, and people
Participate in the gathering of data for the development of new/revised
classes
Aid Curriculum Developers in enhancing course materials to meet the
requirements of the students
Provide feedback to the following groups about which concepts and features
are complex for students: (A) Curriculum Developers (B) Human-Computer
Interaction team (C) Product Managers (D) Product Developers
REQUIREMENTS


Experience teaching software/programming
Solid understanding of relational databases (Access, other)
GUI and other 4GL development experience/understanding (Visual Basic,
PowerBUILDER, Delphi, etc)
Object-oriented design/programming experience/understanding (C++, SmallTalk,
etc)
Good oral communication skills
Technically sharp and good problem solving skills
