This guy is not on the up-and-up. His web page states that he 'bought this bike on a whim' and that his wife is making him sell it. Not true. The truth is that he buys and sells bikes (maybe at auction) and lies about where they came from. I almost bought his last bike, a '98 Bandit, but he sold it the day I was supposed to come buy it from him. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! bryan wrote: > > For details on this showroom quality bike, see my webpage: > > http://users.ticnet.com/vfrman/zrx.html > > Or email my at: > vfrman(a)hotmail.com (change the "(a)" to "@".....I hate spam!)

Gerry Andrews, you're right, I just sold my Bandit 600....a quick change of the old webpage, and I forgot to change the title of the webpage. Joshua Dann.....you can go straight to hell pal! I invited you into my home to show you the Bandit I was selling, you liked it, and I told you straight up that if you wanted it, you needed to give me a deposit. What you gave me instead was some wishy washy bullshit about you MIGHT be going to buy it IF blah-blah-blah. So you're sitting there with your sour grapes, and decide to question my integrity in a public forum. YOU are the one who is a LIAR....as you had no agreement with me whatsoever to buy the Bandit...I simply told you I'd be happy to sell it to you if/when all your pathetic little job hopping crap was over. Meanwhile a guy in College Station is happily putting around on a $4500 bike that he got for a steal....could've been you if you either had money or were man enough to make a decision. Punk. For the record (since Joshua Dann immaturely posted his lies in public) I have bought/sold alot of bikes because I like to ride alot of different kinds of bikes and get tired of them easily. Sometimes I even make a few bucks in the middle (but not on the Bandit this punk is whining about....bought 1/2000 for $3600, sold 5/2000 for exactly the same $$). Every bike I have ever bought/sold was from individuals right here in Dallas. It's blatantly obvious that this guy doesn't want to sell a bike in THIS group. You don't win favor by bashing. Here are the facts regarding me wanting to buy his bike: 1. I read an ad saying that he bought this bike on a whim, and his wife was pissed (LIE #1) 2. I called him about it, and he told me to come on by. I made arrangements to come see the bike. 3. He told me when I got there that he had no offers on the bike, and needed to sell it because his new baby was a little more expensive than he thought it would be. (LIE #2 - he obviously bought this bike with the intention of making money on it) 4. I told him that I would be in Las Vegas for the following week, and I was interviewing for a new job while I was there (I don't consider this to be 'piddly job-hopping crap') and I was expecting a sign-on bonus. 5. I emailed him from Las Vegas to ask if he still had the bike, and he replied yes, and still no offers. (LIE #3 - I got this email on Thursday, and the bike was sold Saturday to a guy in College Station.) 6. I called him as soon as I hit the ground on Saturday, so I could come buy the bike on the way home, as my interview had gone well, and I had the bonus. As soon as I said who I was, and why I was calling, he said "I sold it. take care." and then CLICK! hung up on me. 7. Now he has another ad claiming that he bought a Kawi bike on a whim and his wife is pissed. MY guess is that his wife is happy about the cash he's making hand over fist by taking advantage of and lying to the general public. This is why I posted a response to a public forum. To warn all prospective victims that he is not telling the truth about why he has the bike, and IMHO, is not telling the truth about where it came from, what problems it may have, and what kind of previous owner it had. I am only trying to keep people from making the same mistake I ALMOST made myself.
