The University of Texas at Arlington Academic Computing Services
facility is scheduled to be without power from 22:00 CST on Friday,
September 4th until 08:00 CST on Monday, September 7th, while repairs
are made to the campus power distribution system.  If all goes well :-),
power may be restored some time Sunday.
 
The power outage will affect all traffic (BITNET, THENET, Internet, etc.)
to all UTARL* nodes.  This includes UTARL, one of the regional 'core'
BITNET machines serving Texas, and UTARLVM1, host of a backbone LISTSERV
and the regional NETSERV for Texas.
 
The generation and distribution of BITNET routing tables this weekend
for nodes supported by NETSERV at UTARLVM1 may be delayed.
