 Congrats to Mr. Steiger for clarity.  Rarely is this position put
 so bluntly, right down to the block caps in "WANT".  However, Mr.
 Steiger and apparently far too many others need to be reminded
 about the basic structure of our society.  We live in a democracy,
 which means we elect representatives to go off and pass laws which
 we are then supposed to obey.  _That_ is the reason why we should not
 drive -- safely and effectively or otherwise -- down Westminster
 at whatever speed we want.  If Mr. Steiger finds this system so
 repugnant, perhaps he should go seek an anarchy somewhere and do
 exactly as he wishes until he runs into the annoying other features
 of anarchistic life.  Somalia and Liberia spring to mind.
