Could someone enlighten me as to why UBC is planning to bulldoze the rose garderns by the faculty club and put up a building of some sort? Why do they insist on destroying nice areas on campus for this sort of thing? Why not raze one of the B lots, build a nice 10 storey building with 5 levels of underground parking, and move in there? Anyone else out there feel that the people who authorized this should be kicked a few times, if not shot outright? /dev/russ - "Is the Japanese garden the next to feel the plow?"
