Hi,

I am taking a film class at UBC, and I would like to interview several 
immigrants for my film project.  My film project is about the experiences 
of immigrants in coming to this country.  Ideally, I would like to 
interview people from several parts of the world, with a variety of ages 
and socio-economic status.  I would like a variety of immigrant 
categories (ie: refugee, family unification, economic, etc.).  Also, I 
would like to interview both new and old immigrants.

Some of my questions are:
-what is/was the most difficult part to living in Canada?
-how did you apply to come to Canada?
-what are/were your dreams for life in Canada?
-how do/did your dreams compare to what you are doing now?
-when did you come to Canada?
-how old were you, and what was the experience like?
-what did you do in your home country?
-why did you come to/choose Canada?
-what is your first/strongest memory of Vancouver and Canada?

I would like to do my interviews before May 26.  I can come to your home 
or any other convenient location at any time except Wednesday evening.
