Hi , I am asking for help for the following issue. My family bought a Volvo 4 years ago and we have only driven it about 29000 km (about 7000 km per yr). Last Friday while my mother was driving it a bolt pinning down the pulley for the oil pump was sheared off. Then the pulley stripped the oil pump and the timing belt. So the repair would be very costly since the pistons might have been damaged. The car had a 3 yrs warranty which was expired last year. But it has to be a manufacturer's defect for the bolt to shear off. Those bolts are supposed to last "forever". So how can I hold Volvo responsible for their defect? Any suggestion will be very appreciated. Please respond to my e-mail as well. Thanks in advance. Dan Tse
