I believe that `Go Green' is a provincial program, not a BC Transit
one, though of course BC Transit would be a big promoter of this.

I have some pretty serious doubts about the whole `Go Green'
programme.  They arose one day when I had managed, though a great
deal of luck, to negotiate my bicycle over the Alex Fraser bridge
without a puncture from the broken glass all over the sidewalk. I
was carrying my bicycle over all of the bushes that had overgrown
the too-narrow path underneath the bridge that cyclists are supposed
to use when I looked up to see a large `Go Green' sign on the bridge
above me.

I commute to work every day by bicycle, but I certainly woudn't be
if I had to go over that bridge every day.
