Hi, I'm looking for a studio or one-bedroom apartment in North Berkeley, Kensington, or Albany to move into around the middle or end of June. (I might also be interested in apartments in the Elmwood or Rockridge areas.) The apartment must have a full kitchen and a full bathroom (preferably with a shower with a tub). Laundry facilities should also be available, and I'll need a place to park--an assigned space in a garage or carport would be ideal, and I'd be willing to pay a little extra for such a spot. The apartment should also have the usual telephone and cable hookups. I work at the University on the north side of campus and would like to be able to walk to work, but more important is finding a place in a good neighborhood. One of the reasons I'm moving from my current apartment is because it's too noisy, so I'd like to find an individual unit (e.g., an in-law or cottage), but I'm also interested in apartments on a single floor or on the top floor. I'm a 24-year-old queer female with a steady job; I'm responsible, clean, and quiet, and I don't smoke and don't have any pets. I'm willing to pay up to about $650 per month for rent and about $30 per month for parking. If you have any information about an apartment for rent, please email me at <trmarch@wenet.net> or call me evenings at (510) 559-8131. I know it's still a little early for me to be looking for a place to move into in June, so I'll probably be reposting this query. Thanks in advance, Tara -- Tara Marchand trmarch@wenet.net http://www.wenet.net/~trmarch/
