Hello, Im looking for housing in a nice, quiet neighborhood in the North Berkeley or Rockridge areas. Ideally, Id like a place thats close to a BART station, but something close to a bus line would also work. Id prefer to rent an affordable studio or one-bedroom apartment but might also be interested in renting my own room in a house or apartment with one or two other people. Necessities for me in a house or apartment complex include parking, a kitchen, a bathroom, and washer/dryer availability. Im pretty flexible as far as move-in time goes, but I can't pay any more than about $500 per month for rent. About me--Ive just finished up my masters degree, am currently staying in the Sacramento area, and am looking for work in the Bay Area. Im 24, a lesbian, a non-smoker, and I dont have any pets. Im fairly quiet, and although I do have a stereo, I dont play it terribly loud. Main hobbies include listening to music, playing with my Mac/messing around online, reading, and watching TV/movies. Id prefer to live with mellow, open-minded queer or queer-friendly people who dont smoke--not cigarettes, anyway--and are grad students or are employed. No undergrads, please. I dont want to live in a house or apartment with a dog, but other pets are fine (I love cats, actually). I guess thats about it. If you have any questions or know of any places that fit my criteria, please email me (trmarch@cris.com). Thanks in advance... Tara -- Tara Marchand trmarch@cris.com http://www.cris.com/~trmarch/
