Hello, My name is Doug Austin and I am the Chair of a newly formed not-for-profit organization called Davie Street Productions Society. We believe that Canada is big enough to have its own national gay and lesbian television show and we are going to find out if we're right or not. We should know the answer to that question sometime this year. We are currently scripting and casting for a half hour television pilot which we plan to shoot this summer and market this fall to national Canadian television executives. The shooting will take place in Vancouver, however input is required from across Canada and the United States. If you wish to learn more about this organization you can visit its Web Site or you can e-mail me and I will send you back an information package. We are looking for contacts throughout North America that we can use to create a unique network of gay and lesbian professionals who can contribute to a program of this nature. Check out the following URL or email me. Thank you for your time, Doug Austin. e-mail: aws@mindlink.bc.ca http://mindlink.net/aws/davie.htm
