Active TeX and technical typesetting
====================================

Dr Jonathan Fine (Independent Consultant)

Tuesday 31 March, 2pm

Room TP4
Cambridge University Computer Laboratory
New Museums Site
Cambridge

There is now a growing demand for technical documents to be
delivered in a variety of forms - ASCII text, SGML, HTML,
on-line help, hypertext - and of course the printed page. Here
a technical document might be a scientific paper, a laboratory
report, a user manual, or a book on computer programming.

This talk will announce a new way of using the TeX typesetting
system, that will help us to satisfy these needs. It should be
of special interest to those who wish to have high quality
system documentation for the programs they write.

Note: If you do not know how to find and get in to the Computer
Laboratory, please email Martyn Johnson <maj@cl.cam.ac.uk>, or
telephone Jonathan Fine (01223 215389).
