LOOKING FOR

ACTORS

for a 60 minute 16mm fiction FILM
to be made this summer
in the Berkeley/San Francisco area:

Asian Females
Asian Males
Caucasian Males

All characters are ages 18-26
Great character experience; no pay
(you get a video copy of the finished film)

We want people to bring their own material to audition (a monologue).
This can be anything, like an excerpt from a play, novel, film, etc.
You don't need to memorize it; we just want to get an idea of your
acting ability, presence, etc. Dress doesn't matter.
If you don't have any material, we can supply you with some.

Here are the characters we're trying to cast for:

John - an Asian guy, extroverted, loud, craves attention, self-conscious, impersonates Elvis
Chris - a mixed Asian/Caucasian guy, introverted, serious, oppressed
P.J. - an Asian girl, assertive, proud of her ethnicity, righteous, feminist?
Mike - a Caucasian guy, honest, naive, confident
Elise - an Asian girl, smart, down to earth, pretty
Diana - an Asian girl, devious, airhead, drama-queen, pretty
David - an Asian guy, quiet, intellectual, writer
Joel - a Caucasian guy, enthusiastic, bumbling, writer
An additional ensemble of about ten Asian guys and girls.

Hope you can make it!

Please let anyone else know about this who might be interested.
