Wanted: Dead Can Dance Tickets I need a pair of tickets for the Sunday night Dead Can Dance Concert at Zellerbach hall, 11/7/93, 8 PM. They sold out in two hours after the tickets went on sale. Indeed, they sold out as I was waiting for Cal Perf to take my name and address down. I didn't have any idea that many people even knew who Dead Can Dance were! So I am not terribly pleased with the situation. I've tried calling both Cal Performances and Bill Graham Presents to see if there will be a second show but both say that it is extremely unlikely. I've even tried calling their record label to find out if there will be another concert nearby within driving distance. But no such luck. Therefore I'm taking my last shot at getting tickets by buying them from someone who already has them. Hopefully someone will have had something come up and they won't be able to make the show and they are looking for a person like me to take their tickets off their hands. Otherwise, I'll just have to hope that one of you will take pity on me and sell me yours at a reasonable price and go do something else that night. I would like to get two tickets, mainly because I have a friend who is even a bigger fan than I am, and if I got one and he didn't he'd probably hire someone to kill me and take the ticket from my lifeless body. I was the one responsible for buying us the tickets in the first place, so I feel even worse that I missed getting them. Note that the two tickets do not have to be together, although it would be nice, as we just want to get in the door. Also, if you have one ticket to sell let me know anyway, as maybe there are two people who each have one ticket to sell. If you have any tickets or know anyone who does, please reply ASAP or phone me at 843-9179. Otherwise I'll probably be outside the show on Sunday holding a sign that says "I Need Tickets!". Thanks in advance. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Huntsberry: steveh@cory.eecs.berkeley.edu, steveh@soda.berkeley.edu -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
