	HEALTH INSURANCE LOBBY RUNS ADS TO PRESERVER THEIR PROFITS


	The Health Insurance lobby has been running ads attacking health
insurance reforms, using the tag line featuring an 'average couple'
complaining that, "the government chooses..and we lose."  You may have
seen them.

	It is true that the insurance companies will lose, but they are
spending a lot of money (more waste by the insurance companies) to fight
universal health coverage and cost controls.  They are running these ads
even before Clinton has announced the full details of his plan

	But we can do something about this.

	The lobby nicely provides an 800 number to "call for their plan."

	Instead call their number:  1-800-285-4325   and assure them that
they have convinced you that cutting health insurance profits should be
the first goal of reform.  And if you support single-payer plans, tell them
that their waste of health care dollars on these ads has reinforced your
belief in eliminating health care insuarance companies altogther.

	It's their dime and every dollar they spend fielding calls to
their 800 number is one less dollar they have to spend on lobbyists.

	Call early and often.  They need LOTS of feedback on their ads.
