Recent polls showed that 82% of Americans are satisfied with their
present health care. Do you have proof that the percentage is
higher in Canada? From what I have heard from my Canadian friends,
I doubt it.

I suspect that these polls do not get an adaquete sampling of the
people who don't have health insurance.
The polls may also be showing that people are believing the rhetoric
about the rhetoric from the health industry about our system. How
many of them have significant experience with other systems?

Can you quote a poll that shows otherwise? About 1/3 of the doctors in
Canada have had to refer patients to the US for treatment.
The average wait for heart surgery is seven months!!
A company sells health insurance for those in Canada who may
want to be treated in the US. The lines and long waits for
treatment are not what we want in the US.
