My 3-year-old CD player is acting up again....keeps on skipping a track or a second on every CD I play and it happens sporadically. I heard you can get the laser head re-aligned for a small fee or even for free , where can I get such service in the East Bay Area? It's a Sony Mega Bass stereo and I'm sure it's out of warranty (I think?) Or can I just bring it to stores like Circuit City/Fry's/The Good Guys even though I didn't buy the stereo there? Thanks in advance for any hints! James -- Univ. of California, Berkeley
