Please help out some cats in need!

My friend Steve recently rescued 4 stray kittens. The problem is that
they all tested positive for feline leukemia!

This means that they cannot be adopted by anyone who already owns a cat,
because they will transfer the leukemia to the other cats. Also, they
should not be allowed outdoors, except possibly opn a leash. The kittens
will be able to live quite happily for a number of years in a caring home.

If you live near the San Francisco Bay Area and can take one or more of
these cats, Steve would probably be willing to drive them to you.

Give him a call at: (510) 547-9274

This _might_ be appropriate for the two local groups and t.p.a.
It does not belong on rec.food.veg. Cats with leukemia have nothing to
do with vegetarianism. Please refrain from posting this sort of stuff to
r.f.v in the future.

P.S. Try rec.pets.cats.
