- We're looking for 3 people to rent rooms in an 8 person house.
- The house is a 15 minute walk from the Berkeley campus, at
    2610 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Good things:
  -  Close to campus.
  -  Rooms are FURNISHED.
  -  Landlord pays PG&E and water!
  -  On site laundry facilities -- only 50 cents a load!
  -  Close to a supermarket (Andronico's).
  -  Inexpensive (see below).
  -  Number #15 bus stop within a few yards of the front door.
  -  Back yard and porch.
  -  Fully equiped kitchen -- pots, pans, dishes, stove, microwave, etc.
  -  House VCR and TV.

Bad things:
  -  A fair bit of traffic noise from MLK.  Two of the three rooms are in
      the back, though, where the noise isn't much of a problem.
  -  If you go half a mile further west or south you wind up in less than
      desirable areas of Oakland and Berkeley.  No one here has ever had a
      problem getting home after dark, but some people (eg females walking
      alone) might not feel entirely comfortable about coming back from
      campus on foot at night.
  -  No pets.  (At least, I think that's a bad thing but you might disagree)

Who we are:
  5 males in our 20s, including both students and non-students.  Everybody
   is fairly independent and respects each other's privacy.  There is also
   a house cat, which will probably be leaving come May.

Who we're looking for:
  - Preferably students in their 20s, but others are welcome to apply.
  - Male or female.
  - Smokers ok (provided you smoke outside on the porch or in your own room)
  - No drug users.
  - People willing to take out a year's lease are prefered, but month-to- 
     month is okay, especially for people only staying through the summer.


ROOMS:
  1 room for $250/mo is available now.
  1 room for $275/mo will be available within 2 weeks.
  1 room for $325/mo will be available within 2 weeks or so.

  Payment -- first & last month rent plus a $200 deposit.  The deposit is 
   usually refunded as soon as you give notice.
