A few days ago I posted an article here called "MOVING SALE!!!!"
Among many messages and calls from people interested, I received
a call from someone who said was calling from the Menlo Park  
Police Dept., saying that they suspected some of my stuff was
product of a robbery and they wanted to come and check it, in
a not-very-friendly tone.

I called the MPPD when I heard the message in my answering machine
and they said they didn't called, that it probably was a prank,
but that they would make a report, because it is illegal to 
call in behalf of the police.

So, someone who thinks is very clever is making not only stupid
but illegal phone calls...
