Davis USENET FAQ [ASCII/Complete]--Version 1.0 : Frequently Asked Questions at and about U.C. Davis (c) Copyright 1995 : I skimmed this, and overall found it to have an impressive scope, albeit somewhat sketchy in detail. Here's a few quick comments: 1) A better place to find housing in Davis than the newspaper is the Community Housing Listing Service. It is located on the second floor of the South Silo Building on campus. Their number is 2-4699. 2) The polemic against marriage is really out of place in the FAQ. 3) Once upon a time, IBM set the pace and the other PC manufacturers desigend clones. That is no longer the case. Now there is a PC market and IBM designs their systems to be compatible, not the other way around. --Mark
