University of California, Davis, Bike Auction
WHEN: Saturday, October 7. Preview bikes 8 - 9 am, 
	auction starts 9 am.
WHERE: Behind Fire/Police Station, UC Davis. Take 
	Interstate 80 towards Davis. Exit Hwy. 113 North. 
	Exit Hutchison Dr., UC Davis. Follow "Auction" 
	signs to parking and auction site.
WHAT: About 350 bikes of various types, conditions, 
	makes. Mostly "fixer-uppers". Good source of 
	"beater bikes", older cruisers, 10-speeds, 
	3-speeds, lower end mtn. bikes. Also a variety 
	of unclaimed and surplus ("lost & found") property. 
TERMS: Cash or checks accepted, all items sold 
	"as is, where is".

Note: The City of Davis Police Dept. is now sending
its unclaimed bikes to be auctioned by a bay area
commercial auctioneering firm, so the campus auction
will be the only local Davis bike auction from now on.
