I must unfortunately part with my beloved pickup truck. This 1984 Mazda B2000 has been with me since my sophomore year in college and still runs wonderfully. (It has no back seat, so we had to buy a new car so that our new baby can be in a babyseat. We can't afford insurance for two cars. waaaah. ) What its got goin fer it: * 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission was replaced in 1991, so its only 4 years old now. * Other parts that are less than 4 years old: brakes, muffler, alternator, starter, and lots of little things like the fuel pump, thermostat, etc. I've got complete maintenance records back to 1988 when I bought it. * It spent most of its life in New Mexico (no rain) and Oregon (no salt), so it has very little body rust. * Its got a locking camper shell and bed liner in back. * (Of interest to Hyde Park residents) I've got RV plates on it, so it technically is not a truck. i.e., you can legally drive it on Lake Shore Drive. Gotta love arbitrary city regulations... * 124,500 miles on it. I'm asking the bluebook value of this truck: 1800.00. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Christopher L.
