In the 1870s, life on the Mississppi was often unfair.
Fortunately, there was J. D. Law, Riverboat Lawyer.
J. D. traveled up and down the Old Man, bringing 
justice to all.  This show combines audience suggestions
with genuine historical facts, so it educates while it
entertains.  Suggestions for characters are drawn
from actual play reviews from the real Chicago
theater scene.  In the end, all drama merges into one,
and a Riverboat Lawyer runs through it.

JIMMY'S WOODLAWN TAP is at the corner of 55th street
and Woodlawn avenue in Hyde Park.

The RIVERBOAT LAWYER cast features performers who
have performed on stages as diverse as: Victory Gardens
Theater, The Organic Theater, The Free Associates, Improv
Olympic, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Shiela, and Off-Off-
Campus.
