El Jardin is on Clark, about 3500 North (right after you cross the tracks). It looks kinda small and dead but the second floor rocks! (best margaritas I've had in these places too 8-0 ). Hi Tops is a little more laid back, it's about three blocks from El Jardin (going north but not on Clark, can't remember the name of the street, just ask). Have fun ;-) Miguel

Excalibur is one of the best clubs in Chicago Why? There are 3 floors of fun!! The top for constant dancing,. The middle for "good ol" entertainment comedy. And the basement for food and videos. Not to leave out that there are pool tables throughout the club. It's very reasonably priced and beautiful women consider it a hot spot ;-) s220@midway.uchicago.edu (Sid Colton) wrote: >Where do you like to go dancing on a Saturday >night in Chicago, and why? >Thanks! >Sid Colton >U of Chicago

The Bop Shop (Division & ??, across from Phyllis's) offeres swing
dancing every other Wednesday, and Cajun on the alternating
Wednesdays. Or at least it did.

In article <51lcgb$apq@thor.pla-net.net>, criwil@pla-net.net says... > >Excalibur is one of the best clubs in Chicago > >Why? There are 3 flo..[hasty snip] Yeah, Excalibur, if you like overdressed yuppie wanna-bees and tourists packing in the doors for overpriced drinks and overdone women... Too many people in suits trying to look ritzy. Anyone who has a job professional enough to wear a suit to work, RARELY wears one out on their weekends.. Come on...

Got that smack dab on the nose... My choice is one of two places. The Metro in Wrigleyville or the Vic. Both places have great asmosphere and fairly good priced drinks. The best part about the Vic is it is the only theater that you can yell and scream at a movie while drinking a beer till 4am. WOW.... Maybe I'll go there again tonight. Hmmmm.... --Dean

Earlier I said Neo...someone just kill me for that. I should've said, "CROBAR on Thursday nights", or any Dom/Sub night at any club in town. -- fugue "The police used to watch over the people. Now they're watching the people."

I'm kinda surprised to see that no one's mentioned the Deadly Dragon Sound System (Sunday nights at the Empty Bottle). Also, Club 950's Thursday night 80s' party "Planet Earth" can be really fun, if you're into that sort of thing. Susan
