Yamaha RXV-690....$225 OBO

This unit is in excellent to near-perfect condition. Includes manual,
original packaging and all other materials, and copy of original
receipt. (Purchased new 4/97, on-sale for $500, includes remaining
time on a 5 year extended coverage warrantee from United Audio Centers,
hence the receipt.)

Perfect for someone building a stereo or dolby pro-logic system, or
(as I used it) for computer system sound. (If you're going DVD, I'd
say you just pony up the extra cash for one with built-in Dolby
Digital, personally. This one is "dolby-digital ready" which means you
can add this feature to it later.)

80x3 and 25 to each of the rears. Motor driven volume control, fully
functioned system remote, 40 preset tuner with excellent reception,
sleep timer, switchable S-VHS, front-panel jack-pack includes S-VHS
(for ie. camcorder), dual center channel connections, 5-way binding
posts for A and B fronts, subwoofer output (low-pass filtered), and
tone control bypass switch.

It's a great unit, I'm selling because I'm moving out of a
three-bedroom (three stereo) apartment into a one bedroom and
consolidating equipment.

$225 or better offer, buyer pays shipping, local [to Chicago] buyer
preferred.
