I have this impossible dream of a summer sublet... Large airy 1 bdrm in a quiet, nice, safe & friendly neighborhood near Westwood, Santa Monica or Venice. We're looking for the kind of place with neighbors who are cool enough to keep late hours without keeping the entire building awake with them. We are 2 young professionals who are totally responsible & trustworthy & can back this statement up! We are your dream (temporary) renters & we are looking for a place to hang our hats for a short time while we renovate my Grandma's house in West LA. We can either use our own basic stuff (bed, sofa, TV, etc.) or you can leave your furn in place & be confident it'll still be there when you get back. We aren't going to mess w/ your stuff, that's not what it's about. We have enough cool stuff to fill IKEA but don't have a place to put it. Which brings me full circle to why we need this sublet: We are renovating & moving into my grandma's cool 1930's cottage house, but we need to do some major construction first. We don't want to pay your mortgage for 3 months, but we are SOMEWHAT flexible on the sublet price. Think of us as house sitters who are paying you. This is a great opportunity for the student who wants to go home but doesn't want to give up their place near school or for someone who wants to visit Italy & Ibizia but can't afford to pay rent & pay to stay in those European hotels. email me if you're serious. If you aren't serious then make sure & use a lot of improperly spelled words & then I'll know not to respond to your post. Ciao, Elizabeth
