  Greetings,
  Today, Mobil Corporation threatened UCSB with a lawsuit
over the images at URL:

  http://charm.physics.ucsb.edu/hotline/

  I established that Web Page in May, 1996, at the request
of Steve Greig of the Mobil Coporation, in order to help Mobil
advertise a hotline they maintain for smell problems in the
West Ellwood area of Santa Barbara County.

  Although Mobil made the request for the Web page, they
threatened a lawsuit against UCSB for use of corporate logos
and images linked to the page.

  The page has now been modified.
