Post-doc position in cryptography, with strong ties to image processing
and analysis..

Description: development of innovative algorithms for hiding digital
watermarks in images, in order to provide copyrighting and document 
authentication methods. (Part of a project aiming at realizing a multimedia
system for archiving and distributing electronic documents within an 
agent-based distributed and secure framework, over the WWW.)

Salary: 4'970 SFr / month first year, 5'196 SFr / month second year
(1 SFr approx. 0.83 USD, 03/1996).

Beginning date: June 1st, 1996, or as soon as possible.
Duration: project granted until March 1998, with possibility of extension.

Requirements: 
- preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in cryptography and
  knowledge of signal/image processing. Since this is a novel field,
  others applications might be considered;
- english (written, spoken). French being the spoken language, its 
  knowledge would be beneficial.
