Don't try to tell me that that constitutes real competition.  Thats
like saying car manufacturers face competition from the bicycle manufacturers.
Or that that athletic shoe manufacturers face competition from dress shoe
manufacturers.

Cable companies face no direct competition.  There are no market forces
which drive their industry.  Period.

Right.  Which is why they need to be regulated.  Then they will give a 
damn whether they want to or not.  And don't believe any of that crap
that your cable company may send you telling you that reregulation will
cause your prices to go up.  Part of the point of re-regulation is to
keep your prices down.

The consumer can only benefit from reregulation and the cable companies
are shaking in their shoes.
