I was recently informed by my dentist that I am developing tiny pits near
the center of four of my teeth. He recommends that I get my teeth sealed
by something called Delton which was developed by Johnson & Johnson. He
described it as a plastic substance which will fill the pores on the tops
of my teeth (what are those things called... molars?). The process will
cost $25/tooth or $125 for the whole mouth.

My questions:
   1) Is this process safe? My dentist says so, but I'd like some
      independent confirmation of this.
   2) Is this cost reasonable?
   3) Has anyone had this work done on them as an adult? The brochure
my dentist gave me indicates that this procedure is targeted
      towards children...
