Keele University - North Staffordshire
---------------------------------------
Founded in 1949, the University, with its excellent conference
facilities, is sited in approximately 600 acres of parkland
including lakes and woods two miles west of Newcastle-under-Lyme
and five miles west of the centre of Stoke-on-Trent.
It is only a few minutes from the M6; within half-an-hour's
travelling distance of Crewe railway station and twenty minutes
travelling distance by taxi from Stoke-on-Trent railway station.
There is a frequent direct service between both these stations and
London; the journey takes less than two hours. Keele is within an
hour of the cities of Manchester and Birmingham each of which is
served by an international airport.
