Thats just not as moot as it once was. There are more WINDUMMY Osen viruses, malware, spyware, trojans, keyloggers, botnetware and spamware released per day than all of the engineers from micoshaft corporation, its partners and all the anti-virus companies can write fixes. The Micoshaft platform is unfixable and unmaintable. IT Admins are being hoodwinked about the reality of it all into a false sense of security. Having those CDs around and knowing how to use them by experimenting and googling for tutorials can save the reputations of thousands of PC engineer and IT Admins and also recover the data for hundreds of thousands more from infected PCs. When you can't affort a licensed copy with office, you have free Linux and Open Office built in with the purchase of the motherboard. All of a sudden being successful in business is realistic compared to being peniless donating money to Micoshaft corporation or living under the threat of piracy raids all day.
