I have had this modem for several months and as far as data and voice
I am very happy. I can send faxes fine but the comm app that comes
with it cannot descriminate between fax/voice so you cannot get it to
automatically recieve fax and voice without supervision.

With these types of modems--if your goal is to have a automated
answering system for voice and fax the software and chip-set are very
important since some comm software are chip-set specific. Many of the
common apps in this class are not compatible with this modem.

My best advice for you is this: If you want automatic voice/fax/data
answering -look for a modem that is sold with the new MS Phone app.
The hardware is not as important because all modems are designed
around a very small number of chip sets so what is important is it's
compatablity with effective software.
