I set up my "personalised" page at;
http://support.euro.dell.com/uk/en/home.asp
which is supposed, based on the unique identification of this PC, to
show what driver upgrades are available for it.
It doesn't seem very personalised. Not only are there broken links, but
several of the items seem to be redundant, or duplicate - Win NT
drivers, Win 95 patches, and patches for other territories, when I'm
using Win 98, as supplied, in the UK.
How am I, let alone a technically naive user, supposed to know which
drivers are the correct ones to use?
When I tried to report the problem, the scripting on their "comment"
form was broken.
