We will shortly be setting up a number of international offices from our base in London, (Sydney, Singapore, Europe etc). The costs of leased lines and Concert frame relay seem excessive. Does anyone have any actual experience of running a global WAN over either IBM's multiprotocol network, or over the Internet using PPTP or some other end-to-end encryption? Any other ways of doing it? We would be running: Netware 4.1 Lotus Notes Visionware PC-Connect telnet to AIX Sybase Possibly OLAP tools Would the extra latency cause problems with these systems? Regards, -- Roger Smith
