Does anyone have any recommendations or magazine reviews for 15" monitors ? I have heard that the Iiyama monitors are meant to be very good. I see that the Iiyama 15" Vision Master MF-8515F is 259+VAT. Does anyone have the specifications of this model ? I have just upgraded my PC and now have a Videologic 2Mb GrafixStar 300 PCI graphics card and run Windows 95. Do new monitors come with a driver for W95, as I see that you can now select your monitor model in the Windows setup ? I want a monitor which can save the settings (ie. horizontal/vertical stretch, brightness & contrast) for different resolutions or have a number of user defined memories. This may be standard on button type controlled monitors anyway, but I'm not sure. Possible choices for 15" monitors (and price exc. VAT) : CTX 1565D SVGA MPRII (230 ukp) NEC MultiSync XV15, 1280x1024 80Hz (274 ukp) MAG DX1595 TFT (289 ukp) Iiyama Vision Master FST MF-8515F (259 ukp) Philips Brilliance Autoscan 15B (254 ukp) Samsung Syncmaster 15GLI 1280x1024 Plug & Play (289 ukp) Taxan Ergovision 580+ LR 1280x1024 N-I (269 ukp) Viewsonic 15ES 1024x768 (270 ukp) Does anyone have any magazine reviews that may show the specifications of some of these monitors ? Any guidance to help me make the correct choice will be much appreciated. Matt West Chilton, Oxfordshire, England matt@tdraft.demon.co.uk
