Have just had to fork out for a major rebuild apparently because of
damage from surge in 'Phone Line.
Does anyone know of a device that will fit between telephone socket and
modem that will
a. protect against such events?
b. will indicate when tripped and allow reset?
All I can find to date are a suppressed lead from Tandy for UKP6.99 or a
Rolls Royce quality device from Maplin at nearly UKP60!
Your constructive suggestions gratefully received.
