You seem to have overlooked the part of my post which read:

Given how many of these have, presumably, been sold to
        Demonises, perhaps demon.tech.logitech, or
demon.ip.support.video-conference, or some such, is needed?

the Demon newsgroups FAQ:

FAQ: *** Which News Group? ***
                             (Version 2.87)

        Newsgroups: demon.answers,demon.ip.support,demon.ip.support.newu

reads:

demon.news Discussions about the Demon hierarchy of
newsgroups and the creation of new ones.
                        demon.* groups ONLY.
*NOT for complaints about the news server!*
*NOR for general news about Demon!*)

Which is wrong; the FAQ, or you?

Well you may do. Nobody suggested it.
