I don't think it's that. I had the same problem, it's in the script that
calls rpost (eg get.news.inn in suck's sample directory). You need to
get rid of the -p ${SPOOLDIR} option; that's what's adding the pathname
to the token, it's meant for older versions of INN which generate
incomplete pathnames instead of tokens.
But if you are going to use something based on put.news.*, do use the
.sm versions, at least as a basis. I find it's well worth making the
extra effort at precompile-time to use perl.
