The ones I used to use need special throwaway cartidges that come very
expensive. Laser printer repair needs these, as toner particles are
often rather bad for your lungs, and dust from drum coatings can be
highly toxic (e.g. selenium).

If you're just after cleaning out the dust from the inside of a PC, an
ordinary domestic vacuum with HEPA filters and a fine nozzle would be
ideal (you'd probably need a vent so that you don't overstress the
cleaner's motor or generate too aggressive a suck -- oo-err!).

For the sake of colleagues with dust mite allergy (*), _please_ don't
use compressed air to blow the crap back into your atmosphere!

Jon
(*) Yes, I know -- actually an allergy to the fungus that grows on the
faeces of dust mites.
