Hi there,
Apologies for posting what may be considered as somewhat off topic.
I have an Amstrad ALT 386SX laptop which would be highly convenient for use
as an ethernet connected terminal to my various systems (primarily Linux but
includes SunOS) on the network.
So what I am looking for is a telnet client that will run under dos and will
support (particularly) an Intel EtherExpress 16 or 3com 3c509C NIC - or has
anybody successfully installed a Linux distribution on this 4MByte system -
it could boast(?) a reasonable sized HDD (say 500MB-ish).
(For those who do not know, the ALT 386SX will only support 4MB ram - AIUI.)
TIA
Geoff
