RedHat 4.1 and Netcfg - Help Needed Please

Hi
Ive finally managed to get Rh 4.1 set up on my system(lot's of hassle
with a Diamond Fireport 40 SCSI adaptor).Now I'm trying to get
connected to demon using the Netcfg tool in X-windows.
I'm looking for a an easy to followvery step by step guide for this
Can't seem to find anything in the official user guide or docs on the
CD.
Can anyone help

 1) Set everything you can in the configuration thingy, including
    local & remote ip addresses, nameserver addresses etc. Don't
    leave anything blank if you can help it.

 2) Add to the startup script window something like 

       'otocol:' 'PPP,Idle=33'

    so that it will respond to the protocol prompt.

 3) Get the new version of usernet from the redhat errata.

 4) Edit /etc/sendmail.cf so that the DS and Dj lines read

      DSsmtp:post.demon.co.uk
      Djfootie.demon.co.uk

    or whatever domain you are using.

  5) Edit the mail aliases if you need to.

 Now everything should rock & roll. BTW it took me 3 days to read the
sendmail docs, and 1 munute to do the edit...
